allAfrica.com: Western Sahara: 80 Artists From 20 Countries Will Take Part At Artifariti

"Chaheed El Hafed — Member of the National Secretariat of Polisario Front and Minister of Culture Mrs. Khadija Hamdi revealed on Wednesday that 80 artists from 20 countries will take part the IV International Art Encounters in the Western Sahara known as (ARTifariti) .

Minster Khadija Hamdi said, during press conference held at Ministry of Information, that the event will be marked by the participation of the Mallorca artist Miquel Barceló, confirming the participation of countries like Algeria, Spain, Italy, Great Britain, Mexico, Venezuela, Japan, Afghanistan, among others.

The Regional Festival of Popular Arts and Culture will be held in the wilaya of Auserd from 22 to 24 October 2012, while Boujdour hosts the official opening of the sixth edition of ARTifariti from October 20 to November 1."
