Saharawi National Council Follows With Great Concern Trail of Gdeim Izik Group http://allafrica.com/westernsahara/

The Saharawi National Council (parliament) follows with great concern phases of the unfair military trial of 24 Saharawi political prisoners, known as Gdeim Izik group, which opened on Friday.
The Council condemned, in a statement issued Sunday on the sidelines of its autumn session, the arrest and bringing this group to a military court, considering that putting them in prison for more than two years "is another crime against them Moroccan regime should be held accountable for."
"The holding of this military trial is a new violation of international charters and disregard to the legitimate rights of the Saharawi people, particularly the right to self-determination," the statement asserted.
It, therefore, denounced Moroccan violence that inflicted on the Saharawi masses who are peacefully protesting this unfair court, both in the occupied territories, southern Morocco or in the capital Rabat.
The Saharawi Parliament finally hailed the broad solidarity with the detainees who are now standing before the Moroccan military court of Rabat, recalling international bodies and organizations, especially the United Nations, to their responsibilities towards the Saharawi people in general and those facing arbitrary and unfair charges.
