Extending Minurso Mandate to Include Human Right Monitoring, International Demand, Says Sidati

[SPS]Brussels -The request to extend the mandate of MINURSO (United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara) to include humans rights monitoring in Western Sahara is becoming more and more an "international issue" as the situation is "extremely serious and highly sensitive" in the occupied territories of Western Sahara, the Saharawi Minister Delegate for Europe, Mr. Mohamed Sidati, said Monday.
