PUSL.- The Algerian army set up a field hospital yesterday in wilaya Al Hafed, in the Saharawi refugee camps. This hospital will reinforce the measures adopted by the Saharawi health authorities in the fight against COVID-19.
The Saharawi Minister of Public Health, the President of the Saharawi Red Crescent and the Director of Public Health were present at the opening of the hospital. The Minister of Public Health appreciated this Algerian contribution, which is an addition to the numerous collaborations of the Algerian authorities with the Saharawi people.
This hospital consists of an infirmary to receive patients with COVID-19, in addition to different rooms such as: sterilization center, preliminary examination center, artificial respiration room, surgery room, radiology room, otorhinolaryngology and ophthalmology.
In addition to the material equipment, Algeria has also displaced several doctors from different specialties who will work in the hospital
