allAfrica.com: Western Sahara: Polisario Delegation Takes Part at Portuguese Communist Party's Avanti Festival

Lisboan — A delegation of the Frente polisario has been participating, since Friday, at the Avanti's Festival which annually organized by the Portuguese Communist Part (PCP), in order to allow the world left to meet, discuss various issues and present cultural and political presentations.

"The Saharawi delegation is taking part in the event with an exhibition that aims to raise awareness of the participants and the peoples interested in the Saharawi cause. It also contributes in conveying some suffering of the Saharawi people," said Mr. Adda Hmeim, Governor of Smara and President of the Delegation.

On the occasion, the Communist Party of Portugal expressed a firm support to the Saharawi people, through raising a slogan stressing its solidarity with right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.

The delegation includes the Member of the POLISARIO National Secretariat and Governeor of Smara, Mr. Adda Hmeim, POLISARIO Representative to Portugal, Mr. Ahmed Fal, Member of Saharawi Youth Union (UESARIO) and Director of Juvenile Centre, Omar Hasana
