allAfrica.com: Western Sahara: Algerian Future Front Organizes Act of Solidarity With Saharawi People

Tipaza — The Algerian Future Front Party organized Sunday, on the sidelines of the summer university, an act of solidarity with the Saharawi people, in the presence of a Saharawi delegation led by Advisor to the Saharawi President Mr. Lahraitani Lehsen and representatives of the Algerian civil society.

The President of the Algerian Future Front Party Mr. Abdel-Aziz Belaid emphasized Algeria's firm and constant supporting position with the just struggle waged by the Saharawi people, reiterating commitment of his Party to work in favor of the Saharawi cause.

The Advisor to SADR President Mr. Lahraitani Lehsen appreciated the historic position of Algeria, people and government.

From his part, the Saharawi human rights activist Al-Ouali Amaidan spoke about the Intifada of Independence in the occupied Western Sahara, pointing to the policy of repression and oppression experienced by Moroccan occupation authorities against the Saharawis.

Petitioners in the act confirmed on the common relations of struggle that link the Saharawi and Algerian people.

At the end of the event, Mr. Abdel-Aziz Belaid gave symbolic presents to the Saharawi delegation.
