Hararae — "ZANU-PF will continue to support Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic's quest for independence from Morocco," said the National Chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo, in a courtesy call paid by the Saharawi Republic's Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Daich Mohamed Saleh, quoted Wednesday by the Zimbabwean Herald Online.

"Zanu-PF and the Polisario Front of Saharawi had a lot in common," underlined Cde Khaya Moyo, criticizing Morocco for refusing to accept SADR as an independent state.

"We are surprised that despite efforts by the international community to bring a solution, Morocco still occupies two thirds of your country. Morocco has refused to take its hands off your country. We know they like your fish and the great potential you have in mineral and oil exploration," lamented the Zimbabwean official.

Cde Khaya Moyo confirmed that ZANU-PF will continue to stand with Saharawi people and POLISARIO Front until achieving total independence "because of fraternal relations between the two liberation movements".
