Polisario Front participates in the 6th congress of ZANU-PF
Harare, December 9, 2014 (SPS) – A Saharawi delegation led by the Minister of State for Africa, H.E. Hamdi Boueha, participated to the work of the sixth congress of the ruling ZANU-PF party in Zimbabwe, held from December 5-7, in Harare, according to Sahrawi diplomatic sources.
Participating in his quality as the Special Envoy of the President of the Saharawi Republic, the Saharawi Minister recalled in his speech during the opening session of the Congress the historic solidarity ties that link Zanu-PF and the Frente POLISARIO and welcomed the firm position of support of the Zimbabwean government to the Saharawi people in their struggle for independence.
The Saharawi diplomat arrived to Zimbabwe on Thursday to take part to the event at the official invitation of ZANUP-PF (The Zimbabwe African National Union – Patriotic Front).
He was received at Harare International Airport by party officials, Foreign Ministry and the officials of the Saharawi embassy to Zimbabwe.
The Saharawi delegation had several meetings with officials of the party and government of the Republic of Zimbabwe, the source added.
