PUSL.- The Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic has already established health prevention protocols in the refugee camps to prevent possible contagion from Covid-19.

So far there is no suspicion of contagion.

A coordination committee was created in conjunction with the Algerian authorities. There are entry control measures both by land and by air.

Temperature control, use of masks, use of hand sanitizer, among others, are carried out.

WHO (World Health Organization) will enlist specialized personnel who will arrive in the refugee camps starting 10th of March.

WHO experts will provide training as will HCR and UNICEF.

In the meantime, the Saharawi authorities have already started training staff and distributing information material on preventive measures to be taken.

Temperatures have already started to rise which is a decisive factor in reducing flu and lung diseases.

Once again, SADR acts in an exemplary manner, taking into account the scarcity of existing resources and personnel.
