In a special interview with Radio Maizirat News from the heart of Laayoune/Western Sahara, Mansour Omar a member of the National Secretariat and the minister in charge of the relations with Latin America, Mr. Mansour Omar on Sunday evening, April 30, 2017 said that the UN Security Council resolution on the Western Sahara N° 2351, stuck to what the Sahrawi people sacrificed for full independence through the UN Security Council’s insistence on completing the decolonization of Western Sahara, the last colony in Africa.
With regard to the issue of Guerguerat, the prominent Sahrawi leadership confirmed that it is the tree that hides the forest and all Sahrawis where they are had to reassured because Liberation Army was, is and will remain in the region. Mansour Omar said “the issue of Western Sahara should not be abbreviated in the Guerguerat or other, but is a lofty cause of the first and final goal of the freedom of the entire Saharawi people after a long conflict and still with the Moroccan occupation and this is what the Security Council stressed in its last resolution through its adherence to the Charter and resolutions of the United Nations”. The member of the National Secretariat warned about some groups, mainly aimed at mocking the morale, and cracking down on the Sahrawi people on such occasions.
